What Is Breathwork Therapy?

The 2-stage Pranayama Breathwork Meditation is a continuous circular breathing technique, guided by me, that takes a deeper approach to self-exploration. It is a powerful tool that can clear years of emotional blocks and trauma in a single session.

This safe and simple process offers transformation from within. By releasing the deeply rooted patterns from the past that no longer support our purpose in the present, it leads us to self-mastery. Breathwork is a non-verbal path to healing. By resolving the stories and memories caused by traumas of the past, we open the gates to be in the present. Overall, breathwork exercises involve deep, focused breathing that lasts for an extended period of time.

Kristine creates each session in mind to offer you a profound experience that is powerful and life-changing.

Participation in Breathwork activities can result in deep emotional releases through crying, shaking of the hands and legs, “lobster claw” also known as tetany, which is the involuntary contraction of the hands and mouth muscles, resulting in CO2 decrease and PH increase in the body. These symptoms are completely normal and natural. It is advised to slow down the breath temporarily to release the muscle tightness.

The session begins with the intention setting exercise, which increases your awareness and establishes a deeper connection with yourself. It is followed by the breathwork process that further deepens your healing. I assist and guide you through the entire experience to support you on your healing journey.

Our 2 hour customized breathwork experience is an invitation for you and your partner to renew, restore, and rejuvenate your love and relationship. Through the breathing process you are both able to explore and heal together. The session is held in a safe and secure space where you both feel supported.

The session begins with the intension setting exercise and an exercise that creates a sense of vulnerability and transparency, which increases your awareness and establishes a deeper connection. The exercises are followed by the breathwork process that further deepens your healing. I assist and guide you through the entire experience to support you on your healing journey.

This breathwork experience is an invitation for you to renew, restore, and rejuvenate yourself in a safe, and secure setting, while being supported by the group of like-minded individuals. We begin the session by completing the intention setting exercise, followed by a discussion with the group. We then transition to the breathwork process where the group transforms and heals together.

Phase 1 Beginning – Physical: Your transformation begins by moving the frozen emotions and or traumas that are undone on a DNA level.

Phase 2 Middle – Mental-Emotional: By gently pressing certain pressure points on the body with tuning forks or by hand, you are able to release the blocked and or stuck energies, while we work with positive affirmations that greatly increase your healing process.

Phase 3 Rest period – Spiritual: In this phase you gain deeper access and understanding of yourself and connect with your higher self, where integration takes place. This deep meditative trance like state leaves you in absolute awe/bliss.

Sessions also include: music, aromatherapy, energy work, balancing of the chakras with tuning forks, sound bath, and drumming.

Depending on your needs, sessions can be one on one, couples, or in a group setting. The breathwork session usually takes 90-120 minutes. It begins with pre-briefing between you and Kristine, to set your intentions.

In a safe secure space with music in the background that supports the healing process, you are guided to do specific patterns of breathing through the mouth that consists of connecting the inhale through the abdomen and chest and the exhale with no pauses between the two.

Even resistant individuals can experience an incredible awakening. The results are immediate and undeniable. You lay on your back on a yoga mat or massage table, which will be provided, in a comfortable position. Before the breathing begins Kristine will guide you through the process and explain the physical, emotional and spiritual elements of the practice. Your session may also include soundbath, drums, meditation, gongs, and chimes.

Overall, this process produces deep healing in a short period of time by releasing blocks and opening the gates to unlimited possibilities of success in all areas of your life.
